DES was founded by the fashion designer and creative director Despoina Ignatoglou.
Des‘s journey into designing her own brand began from a simple yet profound realization : her own wardrobe lacked the styles and pieces that truly resonated with her personal aesthetic and sensibilities.
This brand was created to fill her wardrobe with key statement looks and items with unique details . Carefully crafted to reflect exaggerated pieces with minimalistic essentials but always with a quite luxury imagination.
ABOUT DESIGNER
Despoina Ignatoglou, founder and creative director of DES is a Greek designer born in Chalkidiki, based in Athens.
She studied Fashion Design and Styling at the Fashion Workshop by Vicky Kaya and honed her craft working with some of Greece’s most renowned fashion houses , including Deux Hommes and Yiorgos Eleftheriades.
With her personal obsession with the highest quality fabrics , her passion with the handmade pieces and hand-embroidered ornaments she designed a completed collection to stand out in anytime of the day n night with strong silhouettes , playful materials and powerful confident looks considering out a signature way of being.
